Brief Description Of Activity

Internship program
From September – November 2007, the station hosted an intern from Savannah State University. This intern worked in the Creative Services department and assisted with the creation, production, and distribution of content.
From September through October 2007, the station hosted a student intern from Savannah Technical College. This intern worked in the station’s Sales and Promotions Departments on marketing programs.

Participate in job fair.
On October 9, 2007, the station participated in a job fair hosted by the Savannah Morning News at the Savannah Civic Center. Various station personnel participated in this event.
[1] The current licensee of WJCL(TV), NVT Savannah Licensee, LLC, acquired the station on September 19, 2007, prior to which, the station was licensed to an unrelated entity, Piedmont Television of Savannah Licensee LLC. See FCC File No. BALCT-20070426ACG. This report therefore includes recruitment data collected since the consummation of the station’s assignment to NVT Savannah Licensee, LLC on September 19, 2007.
